Rainbowhouse Brussels houses various French-speaking and Dutch-speaking LGBTQIA+ (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, etc.) associations from the Brussels region. Member associations - also non-LGBTQIA+ - gather there and organize consultations at the bar. They are at your disposal to help you find your way to legal, social, psychological, or medical assistance. The RainbowHouse is also an evening café, where LGBTQIA+ and their friends can receive information, receive a warm welcome, or simply meet each other.
If you are a victim, in Brussels (the 19 municipalities), of LGBTQIA+-phobic violence, you can come and report it to the RainbowHouse, without an appointment on Monday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm at the RainbowHouse bar, or by appointment on other days of the week. The reporting project consists of individual interviews, in a safe space, with people from the community who have experienced violence here in Brussels. Whether it's at work, in hiring, on the street, in nightlife, in administration, in the family, on social media, in the medical field, in the living environment... You can come and make your voice heard anonymously to denounce LGBTQIA+-phobic oppressions, insults, harassment, physical, verbal, or psychological attacks. It is not normal to endure this, let's together debunk this violence.
You can write to the email address fiche@rainbowhousebrussels.org, or contact us via WhatsApp at +32 492 40 84 84. We will respond as soon as possible.
