The victim support service informs and accompanies victims throughout the legal procedure. More concretely, it can:
- Provide them with general information about the criminal procedure and victims' rights as well as specific information regarding their case and ongoing proceedings (such as the progress of the case, explanation of an investigative act or a decision made, etc.).
- Offer support at various stages of the procedure (such as reviewing the case file, returning personal belongings, or during court hearings, etc.).
